HYH Group is a well-regarded retail group known both in Australia and overseas. HYH Group incorporates luxury and fast retail brands with a global profile. Its footprint covers Australia and New Zealand, in categories from luxury fashion, accessories, children’s wear, jewellery and luxury homeware, to variety goods, cosmetics, specialist grocers and eatery concepts. Daiso is an international franchise providing quality Japanese lifestyle items and novelty gift products. There are 3,620 stores in Japan and nearly 2,300 stores outside Japan. HYH Group opened the first Daiso store in Melbourne in 2010. There are now 43 Daiso stores across Australian, all under HYH Group.

Andy has over 20 years of accounting experience, both within the public accounting and advisory industry, as well as in private business. Andy has been a director and financial controller of the HYH Group for almost 10 years and was heavily involved in both securing a joint venture with Dolce & Gabbana, which was a global first, and the acquisition of Daiso Australia from Daiso Japan which brought all Australian Daiso stores under HYH Group control.

Andy has particular experience in cross border transactions between Australia, Japan and Italy. He deals regularly with international banking transactions and large-scale management accounting.
